A Safe Haven

One day last summer I was down on Barnegat Bay Sailing my sixteen-foot catamaran sailboat. The wind from the southwest, and it gradually became more and more, the waves were higher and rougher. Upstairs I could see dark storm clouds race for me. As things get worse – quickly, I decided it was time to turn around and go home. But is a catamaran, almost impossible because of its wide stance and two hulls to turn over in rough seas and strong winds. Thus, insteadFormation (turning 180 degrees), I have the next best thing. I let out the sail, so that it would spill some of the wind, which made the boat slower. Then I changed my course and in the vicinity of a protected bay, which was surrounded and protected by low islands, Marsh managed. When I got there the water was much calmer and the wind was not nearly as strong as on the windy expanse of the open bay. Now I was in a safe haven. It was a place where I could breath, relaxation, recreation understand a little bit,then turn on the smooth water and just head into the storm and drive home safely.

You see, a sailor like me, is a safe harbor for a port, a port, a place of safety and refuge. As you know, is a refuge a haven where they offer protection from danger or distress, it is a place of protection or asylum.

I''ve learned from years of experience, that when I''m sailing alone on the bay, I always have to drive so that in case of an emergency, like aForward, I get a secure port without too much trouble.

As we all go through the days of our lives, we sometimes find that the path is rough, rough and filled with unexpected difficulties. So what do we do? Well, we can, as I in this storm on the bay, head for a safe haven where we find refuge on for a while. You may ask: "Where is the safe haven?"

There are a number of safe havens for all of us at all times. For example: The prayer is the first. After the prayer, there is the wordof the Lord – the Bible. Then there are Christians who can pray for you and colleagues to do their most heartfelt and will help you build your resources, you can find yourself turned around and out of danger.

Remember, the best way we can for the storms that may lay ahead in life to be prepared is to have faith in Jesus. We also have the confidence that he provide us with the best of his place of refuge. Sure, in fact, I''m that you already know that Jesus is our only really —
safe haven.
